Ah. Well played.
I checked--there was similar phrasing in the past.
Great checking on old schedules. I would doubt that something with new wording for this year would be cleared. Though the level of incompetence and stupidity is a bit high in the organization. I am continually surprised.
Thursday, August 23rd at Chicago 7pm ET.
It moved about 48 hours earlier.
They are hosting the annual Bridgeview Horse and Ice Cream show which gets like 5,000 people which is a thousand more than a Fire game.
But seriously, it must be so even fewer people are there. . . You can't even get to Bridgeview from Chicago if you left at noon on a Thursday.
They saw the numbers we brought last weekend and did what they could to squash the 3-1-Crew. It won't work.
Me and my two sons were planning a Crew road trip for this match (our first Crew road game). That is now out the window.
Was there ever an "actual reason" given for this BS change?
Chicago is playing a match to honor Schweinsteiger, so I heard.
What a load of shit. I was thinking about taking Connor on his first road trip to the slums of Bridgeview, but I guess not anymore.
6pm local and on a weeknight has to be GREAT for Bridgeview's #BusinessMetrics
Calling all stats nerds, prognosticators and MLS mentalists...
If your work was telling you you had to pick right now between two March weekends for travel, which weekend in March 2019 would you expect Crewsmas to fall?
Where are you traveling to?
#AskingForAFriend so I don't know, but it's about being home for Crewsmas.
Travel the last two weekends of the month. Crewsmas should be before that.
You think? I was thinking the opposite. Travel the first two weeks because Crewsmas is likely to be 3/23 or 3/30.
The last four years it's been the 3rd, 4th, 12th, and 14th. I would expect Crewsmas to fall on the 2nd or 9th next year, with an outside chance of the 16th.
I would not be shocked if it's a derby with FCC either.
How is that a derby? Nothing can replace the Trillium Cup.
