I know that the White Sox did some things with the Fire last season and the season before. I'm pretty sure by now Nelson's decided to just barricade himself in.

I can't believe the Chicago Red Stars head coach was so skeered of planes landing and taking off in 20 mph winds that he had to publicly comment on it. Weather here in Raleigh-Durham would've been fine for a game - and the Courage were never suggesting the game go on as planned. They were asking to keep the game and have it played tomorrow. A team in the "Windy City" shouldn't have problems with a little wind. If the game had been relocated on Monday or Tuesday, it would've made a lot of sense. But by the time the game was moved to Portland, it was pretty apparent that Florence was just going to graze the Triangle.

It's really too bad the Courage are losing home field and a sold out 10k crowd after the most dominant women's pro season in U.S. history and now have to potentially play two games in front of a hostile crowd (I'm pretty sure the Portland locals that show up on Tuesday will be rooting for Chicago).

I only watched the first half. I thought any score from 0-3 to 3-0 would have been reasonable. Red Stars midfield ran possession really well. Shots off the post and there you have it.
