After Saturday's games, xpowerout and I have surged into a tie for the lead … which I won't hold for long if my prediction of major upsets by Akron doesn't come true … go Zips!

Congrats to ENB Sports for having the only bracket with Michigan State in the Elite 8 ...

Sunday Bloody Sunday indeed. Only four entries still have three of their College Cup picks alive. The rest of us, well, we at least knew Indiana would do well.

Doing a rough look at things, I think if Maryland makes the final and Akron does not win the tournament, I'll win?

    Updated standings!

    Our possible champions are:

@boxcar123 who will win if Indiana wins or if Michigan State beats Indiana in the final
@SBZipfan who will win if Akron wins
@xpowerout who will win if Maryland plays Michigan State in the final

If Maryland beats Akron in the final, @SBZipfan and @xpowerout tie. They can go do penalties themselves somewhere if they want to decide a winner

I don't believe anyone else can win, but I could be wrong

Well my pick of Akron to win it all was pure homerism, not any sort of soccer acumen on my part. The fact that Akron now has a serious chance to actually win it all is quite amazing!

Is there a list of all-time winners somewhere? Can't find it.

Do you mean a list of the all time winners in this bracket challenge or the College Cup? If the College Cup, here is info:

Since I haven't won in a couple of years, I got rid of it! J/K.

I'll try and dig it up this week and update F-ing Boxcars victories, but not in 2018!

@Gsterps when you finish celebrating, please update the final stats. I don't want to assume that I can figure out Winner, 1st Loser, 2nd Loser.

Not an abdication, exactly; seemed the on-field championship game was a reasonable tie-breaker ...
