Can someone check on hang? I'm worried the Dzeko hat trick may have caused his heart to explode with joy.

McKennie nailed a late header in Moscow to give Schalke the win over Locomotive.

Did I miss anything major (as in "I should never watch soccer again if I missed this" major)? I forgot there were games today. (No way for me to watch delayed games except possibly the TNT games.)

Serie A 4/4 in Champions League this week. And Serie A jumps ahead of EPL in the UEFA coefficient.

Not a bad week for the minor league sides....

When was the last CL won by a Serie A team? 2010?

Thought you would have bailed on them by now, or at least called for all of them to be fired and replaced by some unknown group of teams..

    ;)

I am an actually don’t mind the dissent. Your level of obsession though is quite unhealthy.

You carry on though. You be you.

Look, I’ll make no bones about my dislike of English football. The arrogant fans who know so little about the game on the continent. The fans and media who are unable to differentiate between the richest league in the world and the best league in the world.

But so many US Liverpool fans take that to a new level. They are like the Red Sox fans of the early 2000’s or Cubs fans who jumped onto a team with a healthy tradition and large fan base who hasn’t won in a while so that they can say “we were there when...” when they finally win.

They are the type who would complain about Chelsea, United, or City buying the league and then when Liverpool spends exorberently they chime in about “net spend.” They speak about Mourinho being a sore loser and berating his players, but say nothing when Klopp yells at the press, or an assistant ref, or blames dropped points on the opposing groundskeeper not watering the pitch.

What’s worse is that they are in the news as much or more than teams who have achieved as much or twice as much as they have because the press loves Klopp and desperately wants to write a story about Liverpool finally winning.

So, yeah, I’ll take a dump on Liverpool fans any chance I can get just to blow up the narrative around their insufferable US fanbase. I’ve done this for years.

    I do love you, though.

To be honest when it comes to the pure football of England’s lower divisions I am a Bradford City man.

Can someone check in on @kgilbert78 ? I have assume that he's in a state of pure delirium after yesterday's Borussia Moenchengladbach victory at Bayern Munich.

Also, for any of you Toffees supporters out there, Growl on High St. in Clintonville now shows Everton matches. I caught the second half there yesterday. That goal by Sigurdsson...oh, my.

Another impressive round for Italian teams in the Champions League. Through three rounds of the group stage Serie A leads all leagues that have at least two teams in the competition with 2.17 ppg.

That didn't stop me from laughing at Inter getting waxed yesterday, because ******** Inter. Unfortunately for me, the classic incompetence of Spurs is probably going to push Inter into the round of 16 and we'll have to put up with their annoying fans talking about a revival until Spalletti bottles it. (On another note, do you think Pochettino is regretting staying at Spurs maybe a season too long. Yes, he most definitely is.)

Most importantly, Derby del Sole this weekend. One love to my man @hardhead. Should be a fun one.
