Sign R-Yo in the summer, and his DP hit is only $240k of the budget. Fingers crossed they dump Simpson and Edu in the offseason.
I mean would we really trust Johannsson as a lone striker? I know he's done it a bit before, but he's probably better paired with someone no? Combine that with a midfield that probably wouldn't give many great chances for him I think the 4-2-3-1 would still be a problem with Aron. That being said, I'd take him over Sapong, Simposn or Davies up there.
Something I learned today. MLS has a season-ending injury list that gives you salary relief. Robbie Rogers just went on it. Was Edu ever on it?
Sounds like a good question for the town hall tonight. Isn't that what they did with Levi Houapeu way back in the day?
My understanding was that he was hurt but expected to recover and return but then had delay but still expected back without further surgery but not able to get clear answer one way or another from the orthopods and Mo still having discomfort. Think they are hoping he can return so haven't made decision to put him out all year yet.
Special guest at Union training. It's Kleberson! pic.twitter.com/15izNm3Mzo— Matthew De George (@sportsdoctormd) May 16, 2017
His goal is still the greatest moment I have ever had at a sporting event. (And I was at Roy Halladay's post-season no-hitter and Game 3 of the 2008 World Series which the Phillies won 5-4 in the bottom of the 9th.)
I was at every home game of the 2008 World Series and the Hallady Post Season No-Hitter and they demolish the Kleberson goal. But to each their own. I mean it was an awesome moment, but c'mon, I'd argue quite a few Union moments beat it out too.... This Revs game and the Jack Mac 90 minute winner: and the Ruiz Goal of course.
Hmm - I was in section 18 of the old Spectrum when Clarke and the boys won the first Stanley Cup. Don't expect to ever top that.
Does the Union academy teach hypnotism? Maybe Jones and Trusty can perform some mind tricks on Josh Sargent and get him to come to the Union.
He would be a perfect fit for our system. I haven't read up on what he's doing for a while, but I would imagine that he will get multiple offers abroad.
Thought I saw somewhere that he signed with Werder Bremen? Edit: I did: http://www.cbssports.com/soccer/new...ed-by-german-club-heres-what-you-should-know/
I didn't think it was official yet.... I know he isn't coming here, just day dreaming. should have used Red Text.
