I had to bail on the live-stream, and went back to see what I missed, but it's not up for replay yet. I would like to see the second half of the second half. :) I'll check every so often to see when it'll be ready.

I was impressed by the little I saw of Harkes, and thought the team looked not only faster, but quicker on the counter attack, too.

The goal they called back was a really nice team goal and a good Mullins finish.

The game is available to watch now, for those that didn't have a chance at the live stream, or for those who want to give it a second viewing:

Went to the Farmers Market at the Al Lang parking lot then the beach for the rest of the day yesterday. I was totally numb to the fact that United was playing here in St Pete.

The AR on that side was so out of position. Mullins was clearly on. Great finish robbed by bad officiating.

I don't recall seeing Buescher play in any of our preseason matches. Is he injured, or did I just miss his appearances? Last season he was one of the first midfield subs.

I don't remember if he played in the first game or 2, but had been injured recently. Too bad. :(

That's a good point about Buescher. There is a lot of competition for spots. Our leading scorer from last year can't even get on the field.

Huh? Neagle seems likely to have a similar role to last year.
Expect 30+ games with 10+ starts unless nyarko or sam have a significant injury.

He seems to be behind Ortiz as well on the depth chart though. Which will further limit his opportunities

But he will definitely get on the field most games, which is what I was responding to. Maybe it'll only be 26-28 games. If so, that means we didn't have major injuries and Ortiz and LeToux are probably both playing at or above expectations.
It is true that we are 2 mls caliber players at pretty much all positions
    A good problem to have.
