Six weeks until the DDC "friendly" opener. Just under five weeks until preseason activities begin on Monday, Jan. 23, 2017.

So will Many Sodas even have 11 players to put on the field by then? We shouldn't be so smug, since the only addition we have is an assistant coach.

Good. Another club already so poorly run it will make the revs' incomplete roster look full and Burnsie look like a genius. Love the potential!

Yeah, but somehow I get the sense than Minnesota won't always be at this level. They are starting slowly, especially when you compare them with high-profile Atlanta, and surely they are going to suck this year, but I will speculate that by the end of their second season, they will be ahead of the Revs. Not necessarily in points and place in the standings, but in business infrastructure. Having a reserve/youth/USL team/partnership, stadium (no-brainer) buzz and relevance in their market, ability to scout and sign quality players (TAM-level, not necessarily mega-stars). In other words, they will be like Portland, Kansas City or RSL, rather than NYC, Galaxy, Atlanta or Toronto. But they will be better run than the Revs, unless somehow there is a 180-degree turnaround here.

Alright, I'll bite, what does RIF stand for here? I always thought it was "Reduction in Force" (please don't let the Kraft's hear that unless it involves the names Jay Heaps or Michael Burns), but after reviewing here, my first pick is "Resistance is Futile" which definitely encapsulates the Rev fan experience:rolleyes:

Reading is Fundamental. Just making fun of myself for not finishing the article before I commented on it.

Revs training camp opens today, not that you would know that from visiting the Revs website.

At least Bilello tweeted that they finally signed a CB.

The scoreboard banner at the top of mlssoccer.com now says today's game between the Revs and MIN will begin at 1:30pm ET.

    Then Jeff just tweeted this:
