But I doubt he will sell enough jerseys or bring enough media attention. They should have gone for Zlatan and offered him 10 million a year.
NYRB waived Justin Bilyeu https://www.newyorkredbulls.com/post/2017/06/28/new-york-red-bulls-place-justin-bilyeu-waivers
He's just under the radar enough to be hipster gold. Plus LA will likely have the media attention regardless - if they actually get Guardado. James
Sporting sign winger Cristian Lobato, also confirm Juliao departure. https://www.sportingkc.com/post/201...8-year-old-spanish-midfielder-cristian-lobato
You guys are crazy. I've seen Sneijder play a few times within the past year. He's a phenomenal player that would instantly be one of the most influential midfielders in MLS. Maybe not the perfect fit for everyone. I wouldn't sign him for a rebuilding project. Sneijder would be ideal on a team that already has the fundamental pieces in place to be a title challenger. Realistically it would be an 18 month contract for a team that thinks it can win now. Kind of similar to Schweinsteiger.
Dynamo sign Charlie Ward from Rio Grande Valley FC http://www.chron.com/sports/dynamo/...e-Ward-from-Rio-Grande-Valley-FC-11259770.php hmmm. not sure a mid 40s two sport (well i guess now three sport) star from florida state is the best signing but i guess time will tell ...
Yes and no? OK, he helped you win the USOC. But I mean, no one is ever going to mention his name when we talk about influential DPs in the league. 37 appearances for the Sounders before getting unceremoniously traded to the Fire. 15 appearances later and he was out of the league. I remember him more for his unfortunate injury absences than anything else.
*shrug* He played an important role in what the Sounders became in the early years. If it weren't for the fact that him and Fredy Montero ended up holding hands most game, he would have stayed around longer, but when presented with the choice between Montero and Ljungberg, Ljungberg definitely had the losing hand.

After more than two years of trying, RSL finally signs an international CB, an Uruguayan named Marcelo Silva.
In other RSL news: RSL is having discussions to trade forward Yura Movsisyan, per two sources with knowledge of talks. LA Galaxy a possible destination. (1/2)— Paul Tenorio (@PaulTenorio) July 6, 2017 Makes sense on a lot of levels. Would love him in New York, but I know that's not happening.
RSL just gave up on the season.. but then, one could argue that they had already given up when they brought Cassar back..
Brandon Allen on loan to Minnesota: I'm hearing that Brandon Allen's loan deal to #MNUFC is complete, with purchase option at end of season. Will report in next few days. #RBNY— Jeff Rueter (@jeffrueter) July 6, 2017
Knowing now that Schweinsteiger is the Boss, is highly motivated, and Chicago is top table, its fun to read the first couple pages of this thread.
