I'm sure there will be others that will proclaim this to be a sign of horrible things. Going to a match in the freezing cold is hardcore. Being hardcore is a little bit further along the demand curve.

If anyone complains about the attendance on the East Coast today, be aware that it is frigid and miserable and we just had a snowstorm a few days ago and there's still snow on the ground today. It was cold, with sleet and freezing rain this afternoon. To expect normal crowds for early season games with the NCAA tournament going on and ghastly weather is nuts!
