Continuing a long-standing Union tradition started by Seitz and followed up MacMath, M'Bolhi, McCarthy, etc.
I think the scariest thing is that even down two goals and down a man, a team like DC United still probably feels confident this is an eminently winnable match.
This is incredibly enjoyable. They literally just passed it around for about 5 consecutive minutes of possession like a Sunday at the park...then Herbers got bored and casually knocked it into the top left corner like it's the training field. I've never seen a Union team demoralize another team like they have tonight.
I know. As always happens, I shit talk a player and they look great. I complained about Keegan not starting...and what happens? Gaddis' out there shaking dude's out of their boots, connecting pinpoint passes, and looking incredibly confident with the ball at his feet.. WTF is going on with this team?
2 straight wins, 3 straight shutouts, undefeated in 4 games - the Union's communication interns have plenty of material for this week.
