United are pretty terrible. Union are pretty terrible. 0-0 draw seems right.

Now that they have optimistic again, soul-crushing loss.

    Or maybe a 2-1 win.

United have been poor, but the tide seems to change for them when they play the Union. I'm sensing a single road point here, though.

Two crap teams, rain, previous bad blood. Expect a few standing 8 counts. I think we will have to go to the judges' score cards to determine the winner of the bout. Comes down to # reds handed out. Hopefully the Union's past ability to lose a game when up a man does not come into play again.

DC always seems to find a way to screw up a sure thing against us. Union go back-to-back giving everyone the warm fuzzies we've all been missing.

Oh shit, I expunged that Montreal game from my memory.

Three straight without a loss??? Sounds like we're on an undefeated streak, folks!

Who is coming down to glamorous RFK Stadium to watch our boys?

1-0 loss. Le Toux scores on a PK in the 91st minute, then pulls off his jersey revealing a "FIRE NOWAK" tshirt underneath.

If DC don't score in the first 17 minutes, that will be a whole 12,000 seconds Blake has had a shutout! Woo-hoo! Don't know about anyone else but I'll be on the phone to the MLS records keepers, stat!

In other predictions, Haris will extend his lead at the top of the team's 'chances created' leaderboard; multiple moments of disarray on defense will go unpunished; Jones will attract several tweets suggesting he is in the running for rookie of the year; Bedoya will get on the MLS team of the week (bench); and Tommy Smyth will talk about how Sapong is a shoo-in for the national team.

That will be doubly impressive seeing as he's with the US U20s.

Say what you will, but I'm on board with Jim on the RFK thing: dive bar stadium, and I'm going to miss it. Went their last year for my only/final pilgrimage. Sad not to make it down again this weekend, but, y'know, life.

    Scheduled "LOSS" prediction.

RFK Stadium sucks. Wish it would be demolished Vet style, instead it will linger on for no real purpose like an aging overweight hipster until the Redskins decide to move back to DC.

Depending on the 2018 schedule, this could be our last game at RFK.

as miserable as the Union are, they didn't deserve the result they got there last time out. Some momentum......Mullins returns.....Hamid might be out.......rain could fill in the potholes and smooth out the surface.......draw.

Interesting, they won, and renewed optimism, based on inserting Jones. Jones is gone. D.C. Is missing a lot. I'm predicting a windrawloss.

We were sloppy and a bit unlucky last time we played DC. I think we take it this time.
