Just from whay I've watched, Jordan Sancho from England and Llanez have been two of the better players. I haven't seen much though.
The subs have been awful since they came in. Have done jackshit but try crosses to a team that is terrible in the air like this Mexico team.
All I saw was long balls and crosses that were not accurate at all. .... and that was the game plan? Laughable. Mexicans aren’t precise with their long balls and crosses with the exception of a selected few. Most of them lack technique and vision.
Mario Arteaga wasted all those Torneo Niigata, torneo de Naciones and Diego Lainez. He did worst than Almaguer. He should be fired immediately. No U17 to hide things this time for the FMF.
Lainez is head and shoulders above the rest. I think the keeper will have a decent career. De la Rosa will pan out for a liga mx team he has the frame to body people.
I have to give kudos to the keeper, who I thought was weak and turned into one of the best players in the team. Also kudos to Chima Ruiz, who didn't do great but had a u20 without expectations to a QF loss against the English team that won it all. What Arteaga did was TERRIBLE. Took a team that actually stood out in some places and did worse than all of the teams before him since 2009. All that money and time wasted.

Why wasn’t Chaco Jimenez’s son called to the team? He’s 16 years old, has great physical attributes, and has been doing well with Cruz Azul’s Sub-20 team

You guys did well in this WC imo, Iran is a rising football power and is producing new talents as well. No shame in losing to them, anyway you guys have won many Youth WCs before.
Meh, tampoco se le veía mucho a esa Irán. Esperaba una goleada en contra así que igual el balance final es positivo. Esa defensa fue horrible y los delanteros no le marcaban ni al arco iris pero aun así me sorprendió nunca ver a México muy superado, en ningún partido (aunque no vi el partido contra Inglaterra).
Si se lo roban alguien serian los mexicanos. El ya ha estado jugando con las selecciones menores de Estados Unidos. Balance positivo porque no lo golearon? Este equipo no gano ni un juego. Tenian 3 mundiales corridos llegando a semifinales. Venian con un jugador con mas renombre que cualquiera de los jugadores de esos equipos. Gano 2 torneos de naciones, torneo niigataa, torneo de CONCACAF, etc. Y a la hora de la hora no gano un partido. Tienen 8 juegos seguidos sin ganar si cuentas los amistosos antes del torneo. Fue un FRACASOTOTE.
