    Official: Fiorentina sign Vlahovic

Fiorentina have confirmed they’ll sign Dušan Vlahović from FK Partizan once he turns 18 in January.

The Viola officially completed the signing of his teammate, Nikola Milenkovic, last week and it was reported in March that they were in talks to sign both players.

Now it has been confirmed that the striker will also move to Florence, though not until he turns 18 on January 28.

“ACF Fiorentina announces that it has reached an agreement with FK Partizan Belgrade for the outright signing of Dušan Vlahović, which will be ratified when the Serbian footballer turns 18,” a statement on Fiorentina’s website announced.

“The new Viola striker will sign a five-year contract, and will undergo his medicals on Monday June 26.”

“ACF Fiorentina’s ownership announces that it is absolutely available, given the dissatisfaction on the part of the supporters, to step aside and make the club available to those who want to buy it, so they can manage it in the way they feel is right,” a statement on the Viola’s website reads.

“This is the time when those who love the Viola shirt and believe the club can be managed differently and with greater success must step forward.

“The ownership makes itself available to received concrete offers, obviously only from those who sincerely want the best for the Viola, and with the seriousness and solidity necessary to lead a challenging club like Fiorentina.

“If, as we hope and look forward to, there will be a project made up of ‘real Florentines’, they’ll find maximum openness and availability on the part of the owners, as yet another testimony of respect for Fiorentina and the people of Florence.

“In the meantime, the club will be carefully and competently managed by its managers, who have all the esteem of the ownership and will, as always, work with the utmost commitment.”

I'm surprised they've stuck it out as long as they have with our shizzy fan base.

That Goldman Sachs guy, Carey, who I've mentioned before is the only concrete lead of someone to purchase it.

Near signing Politano from Sassuolo. what do you guys think about it.
Looks interesting, I can remember he gave us some troubles with his sprint pace vs slow CLB/CRB

So according to a football italia article, Borja rejected an offer from China in the winter. Corvino was furious. Borja also reportedly rejected Inter's 7m offer and once again Corvino is furious and has "supposedly" threatened Borja with sitting on the sidelines all season.

If any of this is true, Fiorentina as a club will implode and become a very undesirable club for players to join. Toxic.

Borja will hold a press conference sometime next week to tell the truth. The club released a statement saying nothing happened.

    Dominos are starting to fall.
    -Ilicic is gone to Samp
-Juve submitted an official 40M offer for Berna.
-Corvino has said Kalinic is not for sale, and it seems Milan have offered 60M for Auba, so maybe they have moved on? Though it seems Milan is trying to offload Bacca, potentially still keeping a spot for Kalinic?
-Fiorentina are working with PSG for two players - a straight purchase of Eysseric (4M), and a loan with buy option for Jese.
-Tata likely headed to Nantes for 4-5M
-Youngsters Venuti to Benevento and Mlakar to Venezia (Both done deals)

If we sell Kalinic we get maybe Ben Yedder from FC Sevilla. But i doubt they let him go for 20 millions..... but Ben Yedder is a beast.
FC Sevilla shows how to construct a powerfull team without any billionaire.
This year they have maybe the strongest roaster since Kanute and Fabiano...
Glad JoJo has found his place there.

I haven't paid attention to them (or really anyone outside Italy) since they had Maresca.

Yeah, they've been saying that Hagi has been having an impressive camp. Babacar looks strong. Surprised to see Rebic there. I'd forgotten about him.

From what I've seen Hagi has been scoring or assisting in every friendly this pre-season. Still only 18, wonder if he's going to get more play time.

Well with Berna gone, and Kalinic and Vecino likely out by next week, I would guess there are very few guaranteed spots on the team with the exception of GK. Is the guy we signed from Aston Villa going to start? Better yet, is anyone able to predict our starting 11 if the season started tomorrow?

edit - someone tell me I'm forgetting someone (or multiple) players...:

    Sportiello
    Gaspar – Hugo – Astori – Olivera
    Sanchez – Cristoforo
    Chiesa – Saponara – Veretout/Hagi
    Babacar
