Anybody know what's going on regarding player sales? I can't remember the last time we spent money before we sold someone. I know Badelj and Ilicic should be good, but additionally, Berna and Kalinic are the likely candidates other teams actually want, but there don't seem to be strong rumors towards any one team. Kalinic to China to follow Sousa, or Milan/Inter as a backup striker (unlikely given he wants to stay in form for next summers WC). Berna has supposedly agreed to terms with Inter, but I find his sale to another Italian team unlikely. It's just rare that the DV's spend money prior to player sales, and transfermarkt lists that we have already spent 23M euros (excluding Gaspar, rumored to be an additional 4M), while earning 0.
I suppose the option in Matigols loan contract will be exercised, which will cost Milan 1M, and the contracts of Rossi and Gonzalo are off the books, but that still doesn't seem to balance.
I think this means that there's a big sale (either Berny or Kalinic) going on behind the scenes, they just haven't said anything. Or maybe DV's have given Pioli a bigger budget so he can buy players he wants. I also think Kalinic will almost certainly be sold so that's about 20M. If Berny is sold for another 50-60M then we'll be laughing. They better use that money to reinvest this summer. Pioli said in his conference that he wants his players to understand what it means to play in a Fiorentina kit and that he wants to bring a trophy to the city. Those are big promises and Corvino is making early moves on the market. I'm cautiously optimistic. According to Footballitalia, Gasper is ours for 4M plus bonuses. They could also be buying players early so Pioli can instil his brand of football, create team chemistry and get the players ready to sprint out the gate for September. Which wouldn't be a bad move at all.

Inter is sniffing around for Vecino (along with Berna and Borja) but the club does not plan to sell him. Inter would have to activate his 24m release clause.
Inter supposedly bid €35m plus Gianluca Caprari or Eder for Berny. Cognini meanwhile shut down the Valero rumours saying it's fake news.
What i didd'nt knew, Borja has a tatoo on his arm with the map coordinates of the "Ponte Vecchio" from Firenze....... so...if he leaves what's not gonna happen we are a bit lost for the next year.
