Amos Shapiro-Thompson joined Legia Warsaw's academy earlier this year. http://www.psnfutbol.com/2018/02/21/legia-invest-in-american-talent/ He had gotten a few call ups to US youth national teams in past years, but had disappeared from Revs' academy rosters.
This coming fall, the @NERevsAcademy will start a host family program, per Bryan Scales. It will operate similarly to what #SportingKC has done with Gianluca Busio and others. Designed to get kids from outside the region into #NERevs youth development pathway. #MLS— Jonathan Sigal (@JonathanSigal) April 16, 2018
I like this move. I hope they can do more of this: https://www.revolutionsoccer.net/po...teams-will-join-revs-chartered-trip-vancouver
Nice. I can be critical when I feel it's warranted, but in this case, using a charter for one of their more difficult road trips makes sense. And to bring the Academy players along for the ride is a nice gesture, and surely will be a thrill for the kids.
There's plenty of room on the pats' 757, may as well fill it up with kids right? All about getting bang for your buck! Actually, this is pretty cool. Good job, revs.

ASN looks at potential players for U-20 World Cup Qualifying, and includes ex-Revs Academy Justin Rennicks as a possibility.
