HT: 0-0 Cho Young-wook seems lively today. Need to sub out Kim Jae-sung. He is constantly getting skinned by the Australian left winger and is already on a yellow card.
another chance for Um Won-sang. He should have doubled our scoreline, but good save by the Aussie keeper.
Um Won-sang on the counterattack again. Good pace and individual skill to lose the defender, but the shot was blocked again.
So why doesn't Um Wonsang start? Why do Korean youth managers don't start their best players? Our U17 manager never started Jeong Sangbin.
Aussie scores 1-1. Good strike, wtf was Choi Min-soo doing? Poor communication that leads to the ball taken away and then poor positioning on the shot.
I'm hoping that this was just Jeong Jung-yong's game plan for the Australia match. Subbing Um Won-sang in the second half worked pretty well on counterattacks. But Um Won-sang should definitely be starting over Lim Jae-hyeok in the next two matches.
You don't think Lim Jaehyeok played well? I didn't watch so I don't know. I would like to see Lim Jaehyeok playing as a CF and even though I don't know if 3 in the back worked today, I would like to see 4 in the back.
