I think Ideguchi is hurt, otherwise I would like to see him in the team against Thailand. As much as I am frustrated by Yamaguchi's growth trajectory over the years, he was key to the WCQ victories in the fall and his skill set (run, tackle, play enterprising passes long and short) is important to Vahid's team philosophy IMO.
Seriously... And he delivered. It wasn't the best moment to start a new guy. Same with Ideguchi, who hasn't really been good this season, Konno being the one who holds the fort.
