@onefineesq Thoughts on the Knicks discussing a potential trade with Chicago for Rose??

I think 2 Capri Suns and a loosie should be good enough.

@Catracho_Azul The question is who do we have to give up anyway? I am not giving away a potentially high draft pick for Derrick Rose. No way, no how. They can take Carmelo Anthony though. Doesn't Rose's contract run out before Carmelo's? I would do it just for that reason alone.

Rose is entering the final year of his contract. I love the idea of dealing Melo for Rose.. OMGGGGG that would be a fleece.. package it with some 2nd rounders and call it a deal. Don't attempt to extend his contract, and look for a big time free agent this summer. -cough- KD -cough-.. and then see what happens from there. Rose-Afflalo-KD-Porzingawd-Lopez

    lesgo.!

Bulls fans would be thrilled to unload Rose for Melo. Sounds like y'all got yourself a deal.

As for KD. If the Warriors had won this chip, he couldn't go to a two time defending championship team. And he can't go home to win one for DC because LeBron just told that story. He can't stay in OKC where it will be another futile year. And Miami, again it's the LeBron story.

But the Warriors... so close to beating LeBron, an obvious hole at the 3, a young core already locked up on contracts, it's starting to look possible now. :)

It's about to be a crazy off-season. Crazier than last seasons.

    Kevin Durant
    Lebron James
    Andre Drummond
    Hassan Whiteside
    DeMar DeRozan
    Mike Conley
    Al Horford
    Dwight Howard
    Bradley Beal
    Dwyane Wade
    Harrison Barnes
    Pau Gasol
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Rajon Rondo
    Luol Deng
    Nicolas Batum

Lebron - Durant enough by themselves to make the list huge.I think Wade will get paid by Miami, but Nowitzki/Gasol will be on Spurs/OKC/Cleveland/GSW teams to get more titles.

Mareese Speights and Leandro Barbosa are serviceable vets and now free agents.

If Dubs miss out on KD, please please please let's go after Batum.

I honestly don't know enough about Wroten to comment on that. But yes, it should be a great offseason. I would love to see KD come to DC though. This town would go CRAZY!!!!

The Chicago Bulls reportedly traded All-Star point guard Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks on Wednesday as part of a package that featured multiple players.

K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reported the Bulls sent Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 second-round draft pick to New York in exchange for big man Robin Lopez and point guards Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon.

The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the players involved in the Rose trade have been informed of the deal.

Wow, that was... unexpected. Funny how little value Rose has in the league. Meh, for the Knicks.

Interesting that KD will visit LA though. Not seeing him in a LA jersey, but still. Warriors are frontrunners as expected, but he won't play second fiddle to Curry.

    MOAR TRADES!!

I wouldn't mind if the Suns traded Bledsoe for Okafor and then drafted Dunn with 4th overall pick but that probably has zero chance of happening.

You guys probably don't care but I have to rant about this. The Suns are seriously thinking of passing on Bender for Chriss, that has got to be the dumbest decision they could make that will set the franchise back for years. I know Bender is also a raw prospect but his floor and his ceiling are much better. Bender's projected to be Draymond Green lite if he pans out, while Chriss is projected to be Tyrus Thomas.

If the Suns end up drafting Chriss ahead of Bender, I'm done with this garbage organization. I have had enough of Sarver and his bullshit, nothing good has happened ever since he took ownership of the Suns. He inherited a promising core of Nash, Marion, Stoudemire as well as JJ and he pissed it all away.

Is it too late to hop on the Wolves train?
