I love the jerseys, especially the white with the red sash

Does their badge have color in it on the jersey or is it just orange on orange?

 

That's a lot of orange.

 

It's really hard to tell and wasn't sure if there was a better image of it out there.

 

Needs more orange.

 

Why promote a kit unveiling if all you did was take two minutes to pick it out of a Nike catalog? Meh.

 

Monochromatic kits are the worst. What happened to all those crazy ideas Melo had?

 

He never graduated...............only attended for one magical season. Though he is forever Orange thanks to the National Championship he helped Cuse Win, and the Millions of dollars he donated for the basketball training facility in his name.

 

Having trouble uploading the image, but Puerto Rico's away jersey is just plan grey. It's very disappointing, but expected after seeing their bland home jersey and badge.

 

Damn. Was hoping it'd be a far more stylish team.

 

They are plain, but at least they aren't ugly.

 

Its hard to look ugly when you use generic monochrome kits. It's also hard to look nice as well.

 

From my understanding its more expensive to produce non-template designs for soccer jerseys so they may be trying to save some money on that. Although you'd think with Melo being a nike athlete he'd at least get some intern to help with the design of the jerseys and a break on cost of said jerseys.

 

Lead time is also probably a factor. Companies are working now to gear up to produce jerseys for 2017. At this time last year Puerto Rico didn't seem to have much of an organization to be working with Nike or anyone else.
