I'm not going to hate on Yoo Sang-hoon for this. He saved our asses many times and I'm still going to miss him next season.
The 2nd leg of the Final has to be the craziest game I've ever attended in my life. 1) A player from each team was sent off. Of course it has to do horrendous officiating. 2) Again, Suwon failed to hang on after 80th minute. 3) Yun Seung-won was the player to watch. Not only the dramatic equalizer at the end of regulation but the Panenka-style penalty kick he took in such nerve-wrecking moment as a rookie. He put some life into FC Seoul's offense after coming off the bench. 4) King Jonathan!!!!! Enough said. 5) WTF Cho Dong-gun. He looked like he didn't wanna play. All Suwon fans kept booing at Cho after he came onto the pitch. 6) Yoo Sang-hoon kept his undefeated record in Supermatch. He again saved some shots that could have been Suwon goal. However, it was irony that he failed big time in PSO because he is known for excellent PK-saving skill. 7) Seo Jung-won's conservative tactics after Jonathan's goal could cost the trophy. He was very lucky today. 8) Over 40K fans filled out the stadium. It never gets old to see that many spectators when attending games. What's more amazing, Hapjeong station was full house about an hour prior to kick off. 9) Suwon finally ended its drought in collecting trophy. The last time Suwon lifted the silverware was the 2010 FA Cup Final. This was also Seo Jung-won' s first ever trophy as a manager. 10) Yes. Park Chu-young is 승부사. His killer pass to Adriano's equalizer (though it looked like Adriano was offside) and to Yoon Seung-won's last minute goal in the regulation were brilliant. 11) Suwon will face off Seoul in the opening match of K-League Classic 2017 at the same venue. We will see you all until then.
I really thought Chang-hoon scored that one. Yoo Sang-hoon just seems to save everything we put on him.
Former Iran NT manager, Afshin Ghotbi, was at the match. https://www.instagram.com/p/BNjpI2LhPJO/?taken-by=afshinghotbi_official&hl=en Don't know if he was there just to watch his former club (he was the assistant manager for Suwon back in 2002-2004) or if he was scouting for his new club, Shijiazhuang Ever Bright FC. Former Suwon defender, Lee Sa-vik, was at the match as well.
