Yes, they showed alot of fight in winning the game in full time. They should play better defence in extra time and hope for pk. The only reason they probably didn't do it is because the outfield player who played gk was awful. His positioning just look amateur. Indonesia should have easily score a goal if they actually attack Vietnam after the gk was sent off.

I guess both Thailand and Myanmar got what they wanted: Myanmar managed to qualify from a historically weak group where they only had to beat historically weak Malaysia (who had lost 10-0 to UAE, 2x6-0 to Palestine and Oman) and a pathetic Cambodia who fixed most of their matches and were always going to bend over for Myanmar for the right (wrong) price. In addition Myanmar once again made some money by fixing the away match at Bangkok. A pathetic tournament at it's current state. The group A was actually very competent and entertaining with every single team more deserving to advance than Myanmar and it was a disgrace to see these Myanmar clowns in semifinal when Singapore or Philippines would wipe the floor with them both footballing and morally.

What happened to Malaysia after last Suzuki Cup when they gave a decent challenge to Thailand? Did they get hangover from Johor winning AFC Cup? Even that was only possible because Kuwaiti teams were disqualified precisely at the correct moment for Johor, having knocked out the Iraqi, Syrian teams and Al Wehdat against whom Johor would not have stood a chance.

As mentioned previously the current Malaysian coach doesn't seem to have done as good as job as his predecessor. It is possible that their fortunes might improve with a change of management in the future.

In a surprise, Indonesia wins the first leg against Thailand 2-1 at home in the finals of the Suzuki Cup.

The loss was good. It's a good test to see if Thailand is really ASEAN best team.

I'm a little worried but I still think Thailand will take it overall, 3-1 is my prediction in Bangkok

Poor Indonesia also holds the record of finishing 2nd the most times as well.
