The one time Yeon Je-min makes a mistake when playing for the NT, he makes it in the most important tournament and match. He's lucky Kim Dong-jun is guarding the back.
I was only able watch it from 25th min on. From there, I thought our players were fine. Uzis are letting our players have majority of the ball and look to counter whenever they can. But since they conceded one goal and behind in the game, I expect them to be on the more attacking side in the second half. Seungwoo is everywhere in the offensive side.
i dont think it was a penalty. didnt even hit the arm. even if it did hit the arm/hand area it would have been a tough call to make but shit happens players and coaches have to deal with it
Yeon Je-min and Song Ju-hoon have honestly been really shaky. The passing have been out of place and most their clearances have never been any good. When the Uzbekistan players shoot at goal I wish these guys would just let Kim Dong-jun save it himself, there have been so many times when they could have deflected one of the shots and made it harder for Kim Dong-jun then it really was. Hoping for better second half with Kwon Chang-hoon coming on (if he comes on).
I really don't know what to do with Park Yong-woo. I felt he was very shaky during the Saudi warmup and going into this match the diamond 4-4-2 was going to leave such huge pressure on his shoulders alone. The players in the midfield today didnt help him either by losing the ball so much. Unfortunately, there is no one that can replace him in that position in our squad currently. He is one that will probably start all the matches. Either he gets his shit together or change the formation that will reduce some burden on his shoulders.
