FCZ 55 Xamax 46 Servette 37 Aarau 33 Wil 27* Le Mont 25 Wohlen 22 Chiasso 21 Winterthur 21 Schaffhausen 17 * 1 March Schaffhausen - Wil
OK, an update about Wil. They have announced that they have not paid January salaries. They now have 5 additional days before points are deducted. 60 employees have agreed to have their wages cut. It looks like tomorrow at Schaffhausen will happen.
Further news, FC Wil players have announced that if they are not paid by 6 March, they will go on strike for their back wages. I only see this ending in FC Wil pulling our of the BCL.
How far a trip is it for Le Mont supporters to travel? Does anyone of the French side of Switzerland get good crowds?
Le Mont is actually a suburb of Lausanne. Directions here As for your 2nd question, this is difficult to say. Sion does ok for the RSL, and LS did ok when in the BCL. Xamax and Servette drew decent crowds in the RSL, and are ok in the BCL. Outside of Basel, YB, Luzern and FCSG, I am not too sure that you can say that any club draws really well. FCZ does ok.
Good point! It is frustrating for the most part seeing empty stadiums. When watching Servette highlights on the SFL site they have the camera pointing to the side of the ground that is completely empty they should switch it around. Getting ready to watch the Cup match between Aarau and Luzern. I may be biased but for the most part you can always count on a good atmosphere at the Brugglifeld! Lots a flag waving and the rain appears to be coming down pretty hard. I haven't had much to cheer about this season but a Cup win would be grand!
The cameras are going to point where the signboards are. The problem is that you can not turn them around as that would block access to the field by the players from the benches. I agree that it always looks worse that it is. Lots of stadiums have different colored seats, this makes it not look as bad.
1 March Schaffhausen - Wil 3-0 It looks like Wil has given up. Lang with 2 more goals. He has hinted that he wants to return to Swiss Romand next season and is looking either at a RSL club or a BCL club with "ambition" that would be either Sion, Xamax or Servette. FCZ 55 Xamax 46 Servette 37 Aarau 33 Wil 27 Le Mont 25 Wohlen 22 Chiasso 21 Winterthur 21 Schaffhausen 20

I will admit when they went down 3-1 I switched over to the YB/Winterthur match and there I saw the fighting spirit from Winterthur that Aarau only found a little too late!
Lang appears to have scored at Wil...... sorry I couldn't help myself. Lang is having an incredible start to his Schaffhausen career. After watching Winterthur yesterday it would be hard to imagine them going down. With Wil's issues they shouldn't have to worry. Though it would have been interesting to see a 3rd tier team competing in the Europa League after Winterthur wins it all!
I thought the same thing when they played FCZ in the last match of the Fall round. They played, and looked really good.
4 March Wohlen - Servette Xamax - Schaffhausen 5 March FCZ - Chiasso Le Mont - Winterthur 6 March Wil - Aarau Interesting set of games this weekend. All the top teams should win, but it will be very interesting to see what type of team Wil puts on the field. Aarau will be without Burki for quite some time.
4 March Wohlen - Servette 0-2 Xamax - Schaffhausen 0-2 5 March FCZ - Chiasso 1-0 Le Mont - Winterthur 1-0 6 March Wil - Aarau 0-3 Interesting weeked with 3 away teams winning, and all matches were shut-outs. Nsame scored again, and Servette and Xamax are only 6 points apart now. Schaffhausen with their 3rd win in a row. FCZ wins even after Adrian Winter is shown a red card in the 1st half. Wil played, which in its own right is quite amazing, but they are a shell of their former self. Oddly enough Winterthur finds themselves in last place. FCZ 58 Xamax 46 Servette 40 Aarau 36 Le Mont 28 Wil 27 Schaffhausen 23 Wohlen 22 Chiasso 21 Winterthur 21

As long as Week Wil players aren't being paid, look for them to continue to lose matches by 3-0, 3-1, and 4-1 scorelines. This is usually a sign of match fixing for players who haven't been earning money.
11 March Chiasso - Wohlen Schaffhausen - Le Mont 12 March Servette - Wil Winterthur - Xamax 13 March Aarau - FCZ Some good and interesting matches today. Servette looking for 6 in a row. Schaffhausen looking for 4 in a row. I am a massive Aarau fan this weekend! It depends which Winterthur shows up to determine how that match will be. If they play like they did against YB, they can beat Xamax, otherwise Xamax should win this one.
Winterthur had about 4800 for their match against Xamax. The management decided that those who had tickets to this weekend's match had first shot at the Basel Swiss Cup match. Not a bad deal.
CALAMITY IN AARAU!! Match abandoned after lengthy power outage at the Brugglifeld. Sources saying that they're not going to make up the match and FCZ has been awarded a 3-0 forfeit victory!
