Thought to start a season thread. Looks to be an interesting S season as Chelsea and Liverpool are about to be blanked. Couldn't find the post with our open teams. Bummed that I kept Kane over Ibrahimovic Liverpool looking like last years as they can't convert with all that talent.
I propose we award special points for goals by the Living Dead. For the second week in a row, Diego Costa scores after somehow avoiding being sent off for a second yellow. Zombie Goals--should they be awarded more or less? An interesting conundrum involving whether one feels righteous indignation, admiration of chutzpah or maybe sheer terror at Costa trotting around slavering and drooling looking for victims. He lives to stagger the pitch in search of brains! Seeing how he's behaved so far, he might do well on that diet.
Not feeling too guilty to be enjoying an Aguero 3 match ban. 2 in EPL. Probably worth 20 points or so.

Who has swooped for which of the recent transfers into the Premierleague? I grabbed Slimani LEI Fwd. Expect good things from the man who scored 27 goals for Deportivo last season and already knows how Mahrenz plays from their time together on their national team.
I really highly rate Slimani, very good pick up. Famous last words , but I like my striker unit and still have hope with my expensive under-performing mids (but trade offers considered), which also leaves me broke despite having 3 cheap defenders. I was spending the last two transfer days trying to figure out how to finance Brahimi, a player I absolutely love, who really needs any defenders....
I took Slimani, and played him this week, tricked by Ranieri's blabber about throwing him right in. That was apparently a red herring for Liverpool. Lot of good it did. Fortunately I'll be due for 5 auto-sub points from another transfer window wildcard pickup, Pereyra. Pretty high on both those players.
