You're right, but since he hasn't announced his retirement from JNT and he's going to be the back-up of Sels (who RCSA bought from Newcastle for 3.5 M), I just hope he's not going to be involved in Japan NT.

 

I think he should remain involved in the Japan NT to pass on his experience to other younger keepers. However, since he’s at the tail end of his career, I think we can both agree it’s high time the JNT started playing other keepers more consistently. Whether Kawashima would be OK with being stripped away from his club to the JNT, not to play but just to tutor younger keepers is another matter.
