Dembele is the worst player on the field currently

Pulisic was clearly the best player on the pitch tonight. Sahin, RG and Kagawa did their best. Everybody else had a pathetic game. Dembele scored a goal, but was otherwise terrible. Tuchel again with stupid tactics and personnel pickings. The man needs to go, he is clearly out of his depth.

    Well we did.

Still if Tuchel does nothing stupid I fancy us to go through. Reus back and the right selection.

The one thing Pulisic is missing is getting useful passes/crosses from the wing inside the box. He does many things right but many nice situations were wasted that way.

with guys like Schmelzer and Pisczek in defense you can't win important games
    Great by Pulisic and Guereiro

LP makes these kind of errors in possession every match. It's happening with more regularity this season.

With Reus back I want to see Gurreiro at LB. No more Schmelzer. And in midfield it's either Merino or Sahin. Don't want to see Castro or Rode.

No it was a sensible comment to make.

Dembele is an incredible talent. The best young talent in the world for me. He is 19 and just doesn't have the guts for the big game yet. This will come with age.

Mbappe has the physique of a man and mental strength. He is an incredible talent, but we have no chance of getting and we already have a world class striker. Buyint Mbappe would be pointless.

Today was another game where Dembele wasn't mentally ready and Mor should have come on.

Honestly, it amazes me how Dembele can look so out of sorts during big matches. There is no doubt he is one of the most talented young footballers on the planet - but he desperately needs to work on his mentality.

Then looking at Pulisic on the other hand (who is likely less blessed physically), but has a very composed mentality.

All in all, given the last 24 hours...... things could be much, much, worse! I still think that with Reus back in the lineup, we can beat them by more than one goal at home.

It was more to make a point. Emre Mor has had one or two good moments in a big game since joining. Dembélé may have been poor. Mor could have gotten a red card.

They seem to always be Klopp's targets! Regardless of today's result, your team has serious talent.

I couldn''t watch or follow the match. How did we lose? Is there hope for the second leg?

Horrible first half, we were losing 2-0 thanks to Tuchel's recurrent urge to prove how smart and innovative he is, he corrected those mistakes by subbing Schmelzer and Bender for Sahin and Pulisic. We managed to score 2 goals but still lost 3-2 thanks to a f uck up by Piszczek.
