Hopefully our players are in a better state mentally than they were on Wednesday. Reus wll be back in the starting line-up which is a much-needed boost to both performance and team morale. The only worrying news regarding our team is that Tuchel seems desperate to bring Castro back onto the pitch. Expect the same line-up that played the second half vs. Monaco with Reus in place of Dembélé.
It's not like Sahin has played a lot of matches, I'm sure he can handle 2 matches in 4 days, plus if Castro is available he will automatically displace Sahin because he is one of Tuchel's favourite players.
Durm and Castro (GODDAMMIT) took part in today's final training. Happy about Durm, but unfortunately we'll have to endure more of Castro's uselessness.
Doesn't work that way. When you've out for a long time it takes longer to get back to a point where you can play more minutes and consecutive games.
Probably the best time for Tuchel to play Merino. I hope Reus and Durm are back among the fit players. It would probably be best if Sahin is saved for the rematch against Monaco.
That means we will be handicapped by having Castro against Monaco. Also I doubt TT will pull a Brendan Rodgers and play Sahin just behind the striker.
Damn. The Eintracht goal was a beauty, can't be denied. But what about our hidden striker Sokratis ..
We looked good though but our defence is really clueless. Frankfurt only have to sit back, defend and counter against us. We need to watch the space we leave while we're attacking.
3:1 Auba to calm the nerves. Sahin had a very silent game but made the good pass to Dembele to set up the goal.
Sahin is an incredibly intelligent player - always amazed with his composure on the ball. He does a lot of the little things right.
What a clearup from Sahin half the field on the volley to Dembele on the Free Kick and then to Auba who scores 1v 1 with the goal keeper. 3-1. 4 minutes to go that should seal the 3 points.
