Johnathan scores 26th goal of the season vs Chungju Hummel, and Daegu FC is edging closer to the title. BUT Kim Byung-oh immediately scores equalizer so lets wait and see. KNT-bound Cho Hyun-woo with a little mistake I think.
Daegu these idiots let go of the title in front of their eyes. They were all ready, playing at home against Bucheon with a win would allow them to be champions BUT they drew 1-1 so the title (and automatic promotion) goes Sangju Sangmu (team I predicted would win http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/2015-k-league-challenge-thread.2015792/). So now, all we have left is the promotion play-offs & who will play Busan Suwon FC vs Seoul E-land Daegu FC vs Winner Then.... Busan I'Park vs Winner
Suwon is in the next round after they drew at home against Seoul E-Land, 3-3. This is a great rule who was applied in the J2 league as well. That's really an advantage after you were better than your opponent in the regular season. Suwon needs to win in the weekend against Daegu to face Busan. HG here.

I have mixed feelings about this rule. Shouldn't home field advantage alone on an elimination match be good enough? Seems odd that they can't even allow for an extra 30 to allow these two to duke it out. Regardless, entertaining match and I prefer a potential Suwon derby instead of a Seoul derby.
Hmm, I don't know what to say about the "home advantage", it's more a stereotype. I mean in this case E-Land had more wins away from home than in front of their fans in the regular season. I these days the home advantage is only on the paper when you play in the same country. Yes, if you are Benfica or Atletico and you will go in Kazakhstan it feels.
Feel sorry for Daegu. They were very good, but the final was a nightmare. Without Eder and Jonathan they couldn't score more against Suwon, who will face Busan in the play-offs. Nice volley from the former veteran Pohang striker. Class.

Lim Ha-ram got sent off (straight red) for this lol... Suwon have been far better side than Busan. Only the officials have been in their way.
Suwon FC is really hard done by. That red card was extremely harsh and Sisi's goal was disallowed and also two fouls in the penalty box were ignored. Dreadful refereeing.
thoughts after Suwon FC/Busan -hope that Hyundai doesn't pull the plug on Busan after being relegated -refreshing to see Vladan and Japa blending in the way they did (Vladan running over to Im Sung Taek and shouting his name after he scored the 1st goal/Japa kissing the Suwon FC Crest and respectfully bowing as he shook hands with the I'Park players at the end).
