Seeing as the Champion of the ACL doesn't get a spot I don't see why the winner of the AFC Cup should.

As far as I know, next MA Technical Ranking will be prepared in 2016 and based on that, slots will be allocated for next two seasons.

Provisional AFC Rankings ending 2015 (with the next AFC ExCo meeting later this month, it is unlikely December FIFA rankings will be used, but lets wait and see):

[NOTE: I have assumed the teams due to play Kuwaiti clubs in the Semi Final second legs were given technical victories for their disqualification; if AFC decide to award no points, then which MAS and VIE]

The last column shows potential 2017 AFC Champions League allocation (assuming MAs enter and pass all other criteria and that none are suspended!)

AFC have released an updated version of their MA Rankings. They have not award technical victories for the disqualification of Kuwaiti clubs in the AFC Cup Semi Finals. This drops Malaysia below Vietnam in the above table. The final point totals for the affects MA's are:

    Malaysia - 25.658 [18th, drop 1 position from above]
    Tajikistan - 15.794 [remains 24th]

This will not alter the allocation, but will affect seedings.

ExCo meeting is today, so hopefully we will find out soon the final allocation for 2016 and the provisional allocation for 2017.

    Hi
How do you calculate, each country's point for each year?
Just bye dividing "Clubs' Points" by "Number of clubs in that year" ?
    For Example, Iran 2014:
    Foolad 22
    Esteghlal 10
    Sepahan 10
    Tractorsazi 8
TOTAl=50 points for Iran in 2014
    50/4=12.5
But by your calculation it should be 9.5

According to AFC's ranking, your calculation is right. But I can't understand how did you do that. Would you ind please, explain it more.
    Thanks a lot.

No, it should be as follows:
Foolad 19 (14 points in group stage + 3 bonus points for advanced to R16 + 2 points for 2 draw matches in R16 + 0 bonus points as couldn't advance to QF)
Esteghlal 7 (7 points in group stage, couldn't advance to R16)
Sepahan 7 (7 points in group stage, couldn't advance to R16)
Tractorsazi 5 (5 points in group stage, couldn't advance to R16)

    38/4=9.5

    @Erfan Sobooti

You appear to have mixed the ranking calculation methods for MAs and Clubs.

AFC have rankings for both, but are calculated using different methods. Please see AFC's rankings mechanism for MA's and Clubs.

You have correctly calculated the points for clubs that represented Iran in 2014, as you can see from the latest Club Rankings.

AFC MA Ranking however does not take into account playoff games or gives points for participating in the group stage.

Hope that clears everything up :)

according to AFC Club Rankings for November,2nd leg of semi-final matches of AFC Cup 2015, calculated as null.
and they are not awarded for Tajik and Malaysian teams.
So points for Tajikistan and Malaysia in 2015 will be 9.000 and 9.500 and I think your table should be updated. ;)

Based on the new released today, I am {CENSORED} done with the AFC. Look at that table - its a {CENSORED} mess!!! They are constantly {CENSORED} around with the system they set in place making up {CENSORED} as they go along. How is anyone meant to follow when they {CENSORED} change things willy-nilly?!?!

    {CENSORED} you AFC; {CENSORED} you!!

Yes. Club has to meet the requirements of AFC. Strange because Al-Shorta participated in the play-offs in 2014.

This kind of orderless is unbelievable !!!
alloctions are changing each year without any absolute rules
A team which plays in last year's competition, this year disqualified !
Qualification round of AFC Cup 2016, held on August 2015 ! (With champions of 2014 Leagues )
West/East seperation is different each year !
    ...
