No he hasn't. Giovani has put in some of the more dangerous passes in this game through his set pieces and forward passes (specifically to Maganto?). He already has an assist. His finishing is poor? I don't think he attempted a shot at goal yet. He took a poor touch inside the box that may have resulted a goal scored but that is the only one I can think of. He's fine.
Nah, they still won't win it even if they keep him. It seems the posters banned from the rivalry thread are trying to make this a new rivalry thread, but it doesn't work that way, peeps. Cut the predicting and get to analyzing. Mad props to the Greens so far, not a good look for Bictor Manuel Bucetich tonight.
A team from Belize, Verdes FC, just held Queretaro (last year's Clausura finalist) 0-0 in their first ever CCL game. Amazing result. They actually created a fair amount of chances on the counter as well.
Obviously his analysis is the Galaxy are looking good enough to win this thing if they can keep Zardes. There was nothing rivalry-esque about his post whatsoever. Cut the attitude. You don't rule this forum either.
We are way to early to be predicting winner. Besides posting the galaxy are going to win over and over is rivalryesque
Concacaf is going to rig it so La Galaxy get's the easiest road to the final and put the Liga MX clubs up against each other, aren't they?
Giovani with 2 assists in today's game with the La Galaxy. Overall, he is tallied in 2 goals and 4 assists for the LA Galaxy so far in 4 games played.
Well, CONCACAF already placed Costa Rican teams in the Mexican groups, they are doing everything they can to make the MLS win it.
No, you cut the attitude. Saying the galaxy will win, rather than their chances are good if they keep him, is rivalry-esque. His post was rivalry-esque, there's a difference between measuring your chances and flat out saying they're gonna win it.
Out of CONCACAF's hands now...the knockout-round bracket is based solely on how the group winners performed, so it all depends on how Galaxy's kids do in Guatemala and T&T. And wow, I did not expect Belizean clubs to go from 6-0 poundings in 2008 to actually being competitive. CONCACAF football on the rise
And they made it without playing any international game between 2008 and now. Galaxy looks serious, they might go to #1 seed if they continue like this.
Thank you. And it's as if the "we all know Mexico will in this thing" posts aren't rivalry fodder either...
MLS needed the CCL format to change from Groups of 4 into Groups of 3 inorder to finally be competitive against Mexican teams. LMAO
ehehe, where you see MLS against MX teams? ))) MLS clubs play better in groups of 3 because they play against Nicaragua, Guatemala or Jamaica clubs )) Let see in quarterfinals, when will play against MX Anyway, I think MLS clubs dream at FIFA Clubs World Cup ... and how only CCL is chance, they must win it
You do realize this format helps Mexico to. The only teams to eliminate a LMX team are MLS and CR teams. There are usually just 2 CR teams for Mexico to worry about in the group stage opposed to 4 or 5 MLS teams Mexico could potentially worry about. And Canada can play LMX or CR teams in the group stage, but in this edition they are facing another MLS team. The fact is, it is harder to be the soul winner of a 3 team group. The old format was easier for Mexico because it could come in second in a 4 team group and still advance. No second place teams can advance now.
Why are you still dishing out this argument? Mexican clubs have a overwhelming winning record against MLS clubs, how is this helping Mexico? Because they got eliminated once when Tigres used a reserve side against Seattle? Really? This new format is to help MLS sides and nothing more.
As if any Mexican teams had a hard time or got eliminated during the pre-liminary stage or groups of 4 in 2008-2012 Ever notice why CONCACAF is keeping this Group of 3 format? Because it helps MLS teams finally not end up embarrassed in the Group Stages by avoiding Mexican teams. It makes your League look good when Galaxy drop 5 on Minnows like Central FC & Comunicaciones
Amen, not the MLS teams have higher chances of ending up the Top Seed by playing scrubs like Guatemalan clubs & Central FC Yet when the preliminary stage existed Galaxy got eliminated by Puerto Rico Islanders lmao
Preach, notice how the Groups of 4 format was changed since Mexican teams would crush other clubs from certain countries. In 2009 an all Mexican semifinal happened, that is why Concacaf Wanted to change the Format ConcaCrap will keep this format since it makes their beloved MLS look good when their teams get 12 points in a Group. Undefeated against teams like Central FC, Municipal & Comunicaciones lmao Thanks Concacaf
