It is your right to be a Nad or plastic.. or to follow some other meaningless sport / celebrity contest if you want... but you are sounding like that cara de panocha asustada @Rafael Hernandez these days...
You are sounding way too rustled by what I said. I mean waaaaaaayyyy rustled. You even brought in Rafa to our convo. But if BSMX history serves right, you'll just talk yourself into a ********ing hole like always and you'll disappear –embarrassed– for a few months. So.... work your magic, chavo. lol
I don't get why it's not "a bone" to get to the round. We just had a disastrous 2013 where we almost got eliminated to the world cup and people are saying it's not enough to get to the round of 16? The rampant lack of memory mexicans have is really bad.
I was expecting this team to go 3 and out. They surprise me and played pretty well. For me its not a failure.
Relax dude, memory has nothing to with it, if anything yours is suffering more than mine. You can't seem to look farther than 2013. 2011 and 2012 were great years where a shit ton was accomplished. Focussing on the hex and 2013 only lays the foundation for an acceptable early exit. It's similar to the nads and the need to say group of death...it's early excuse making. By this logic all Mexico has to do is set the bar super low the year preceding a wc and be "respectable" the following and it will perpetually be looked upon as a good job. It's a great way to give the impression of progress while actually achieving nothing.
Which are closer to the world cup? 2011 or 2013? It's not about it being acceptable, it's about how this team was a disaster the year before, so that it shouldn't be suddenly viewed as mediocre to make it only to the round of 16, when a year ago people would have killed for that when we were having to go to New Zealand to qualify. And the problem with the spazzos nads is how much they overrate the performance but they didn't have a bad world cup at all. Just that they are over hyping it like they always do Like I said, it's super tough to get to the round of 16. Progress is super tough in world cups, which is why many people haven't done it. In fact only 3 teams have for 6 straight world cups. Your talk of routine and default and such is BS IMO. 187 teams would like to achieve that "nothing" as you call it. And we do it time after time. Just because they have done it, doesn't mean it's easy or as simple as you make it out to be. Maybe analyze the performances, the quality of team we had and the scope of the competition so you can look at how tough it really is and how far it is from routine.
not trying to go back and forth with you to spur some "vendetta" or whatever you call it @mods... but, it might be declining in some areas but increasing in the one that matters most to me. Which is the guys that take home the trophy particularly new champions aka Spain.

Enrique Peña Nieto recibió a la Selección en Los Pinos http://www.aztecanoticias.com.mx/no...ena-nieto-recibio-a-la-seleccion-en-los-pinos "...cada vez estamos más cerca de ser campeones..." LMFAO!!!!
Seriously? He was extremely good against Belgium but there's EPL players on Germany you know... Özil would get my vote.
This latest gesture by Germany and Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has to be praised. The 2014 World Cup winner has donated his full £240,000 tournament winnings to struggling projects in Brazil. The Germany players were each promised the hefty sum ahead of the tournament if they won the competition in Brazil, which they achieved. It’s always good to see players giving back.
Remember reading too that some Algerian players gave money to Palestinians in Gaza after their match against Germany.
