Maetan managed to comeback to win 2-1. Maetan wins it for the first time. I think it was a good showcase of what the future of these two K League Classic clubs will be. Especially impressed with Maetan and it seems that Suwon investing more on their youth is starting to show its signs.

Pohang's Lee Chang-won comes into spotlight once again. His team played against Busan Bukyeong in the quarter-finals of the "95th National Sports Festival" tournament in Jeju. He had to make a substitution (Kim Kyung-woo) in the 14th minute due to injury and then had a man sent off (Kim Dong-hyun) for swearing at the opposition. Everything was in favor for Bukyeong. But Pohang U-18 changed in the second and dominated the game. He planned a counter-attacking side with Hwang Hee-chan as the key and in the second half 21' Lee Gwang-jun's half-volley shot was saved by the keeper but Hwang Hee-chan pounced on the ball to win 1-0. Denis Laktionov aka 'Denis', former Russian International player who spent majority of his playing career in the K-League with Suwon for 8 years since 1996 - 2007. Suwon was his second Club to join in which he played from 1996 - 2003 with 107 appearances and scoring 31 goals, then moving to Seongnam in 2003 where it was a pretty gloomy career with the Club eventually getting replaced and benched for throughout the season after suffering an injury (56 appearances and 13 goals).He then went back to Suwon in 2006 and stayed for a year before ending his career with Gangwon FC, and now he's the coach for the Suwon Littlewings.
