As usual, threads for players on 6-months loans are not opened due to the short time of it. In the event that the player signs a definitive agreement, I will extract the posts regarding the new club and make a new thread.
Kagawa's IG blew up, with congratulatory comments from Reus, Bartra, Toprak, Dahoud, Bürki, Jojic, Vida, Felipe Santana, Weigl, Büttner, Adrian Ramos, Adriano, Inler, Mustafa Amini, Ryuji Bando, Chunson Lee...
FK goal, that's new. Knuckle ball as well. Looks like he's still popular figure in BVB. Hope Favre doesn't lose hope in him.
So happy for him. Kagawa is all time legend in Dortmund, very very popular. He even has a great song there which was broadcast in Japanse TV News.
Well, he scored his farwell goal for Cerezo from FK... So it's not really new. There were simply better players in that aspect in Dortmund. Keep in mind that since his arrival it's they once again became one of the top European clubs. He will stay in their history forever.
That song... The good old times :°( It's really sad that after Nakajima's choice probably it will be ages before a japanese footballer will have an impact as Kagawa had in Dortmund. What if he had stayed in BvB and played the UCL final in place of the injured Gotze? Ok, stop dreaming. I hope to see him in Copa America in place of Inui.
Shinji makes his first start in the big derby against Fenerbahçe. So far his free kick from the flank was knocked into the goal after a goalmouth scramble, and he picked up an assist on a through ball from his own half to put Besiktas up 3-0 at the half.

Kagawa celebrated his 30th birthday by flying back to Japan for his first NT callup since the World Cup. He reposted a ton of IG stories from former teammates and you get a sense for his significance in BVB's resurgent era, with a ton of world class stars like Reus, Götze, Auba, Sacho, et al. Seems like a popular guy despite not speaking German.
