On the bench with Twente first team last week but did not get any minute of playing time.
Played for Twente youth team on Monday.

A really good scoring chance was stolen by his team mate :(

Played in Jong Twente vs NEC game. He got a very good chance to score a goal but missed it.

I saw the match, to my surprise the coach let him for '90 on the pitch against the league leaders, however he was so-so (as was the whole team).
He'd need to restart with regular play time even if it means a lower league or Jleague, not a coincidence he scored some classy goals when playing in the 2nd div.

Highlights of the game vs PSV for anyone has not seen it yet. He had 1 clear chance to score a tap in and miss. Sometimes the difference between success and failure is only a goal. Score and you get in the team for next game. Miss and you never get back in the team again.

Don't know what went wrong in his development. He started off so well, looked so promising and now seem to be a broken man. His link up play is better but he has gone so timid and clumsy.
Does anyone think it is better to start it slowly in J-league rather than jumping straight to Europe?

That said, if they lost 5-0, he's probably not the only one to have screwed up. What hurts is to see Wijnaldum ballin' in the opposite team while Ryo seems to have stayed in 2010.

Wijnaldum, the wonderkid of Football manager 2008:D.
It took him years to get international recognition in real life.

  18. No, but never go to leagues that are result driven, because the managers are judged by their results in the short term, unlike the "Eredivisie", that is development driven. Choose the wrong one and you're screwed.

it doesn't mean anything, there are many "ifs".
For all we know, Takefusa Kubo could've become the greatest japanese player ever, or the next Assulin\Bojan.

I don't want Takefusa to be like Bojan? The Serbian was very good at a decent EPL side before that bad injury. Yes, I know what you say, but Bojan is not finished yet like Gai, maybe after this f.ucking injury...Cruciate Ligament Rupture

Well, becoming the Japanese Bojan would be something more on the level of Morimoto.

Different players respond differently to the way managers coach. Talented players with weak, sensitive personality like Bojan need to be loved and make him feel at home at the club to play well. Some players love competition since that bring more out of them, some hate it.
Finding coach that trusted you in a good club is very important.

My bet is that if Ryo started in the J.League, he would probably spend his weeks on the bench at Oita now.
