Isn't Molina a free agent end of this year? He's going back to Colombia last time I heard of him after the season

took me a while to realize the Guangzhou player who went to Choi 감독 is Kim Young Kwon. at least we'll have a Korean at the CWC. hopefully he does well and catches the attention of European scouts

He won't. He gets paid much more than what he's actually worth at Guangzhou. Same goes for Elkeson and Conca.

I reckon his on about $1-2 million a year at Evergrande or @greenlion might know how much he makes.

He's on 1 million USD a year in Guangzhou, that's almost the highest for a AFC foreigner could earn in CSL, Ryan McGowan earns 1.2 million USD in Shandong Luneng, Cho Won-Hee earns 1.2 million USD in Wuhan Zall, so Kim Young-Gwan is the third highest paid AFC Foreigner in CSL. Kim Dong-Jin is on 800k USD in Hangzhou Greentown.

Kim Young-Gwon and Ha Dae-Sung should be in the starting XI.

Christopher Atkins has a man crush on KYG. He gushes about him whenever he can in most of his articles.

I noticed Quack on the substitute list. Kwak Taehwi should be nowhere near the bench let alone the starting eleven, lol.

Diversifying doesn't seem to be a good enough excuse on AFC's part to put Kwak on the list when there are far better candidates (and not just from the final four clubs). o_O I don't understand AFC's infatuation with Kwak...

Kim Young-Kwon and Sergio Escudero should AT LEAST be on the bench.

And even then, they only managed to find two players not from these clubs to squeeze on the bench. Otherwise the squad is very good.

Put them in instead of Kwak and Bunmathan.

Probably because the AFC is run by the Arabs and they realised that unless they introduce this format, they will never see one of their teams in the final ever again.
