They were promised world cup stadiums when they left Seoul but no club should move ever unless they have to. Fans should be the center of attention not stadiums. I knew a few Bucheon fans so maybe my view of them is skewed a bit, but it's still a scummy move to ship their favorite players on an island across the country. Anyang fans can take a bus, Bucheon fans have to take a damn plane. The only good thing that came from the Decentralization Policy are Anyang fans, now they can start fresh in the K2. As for Jeju Utd, thank god they have Park Kyung Hoon as manager or they would be the team getting relegated this season and with the least amount of attendances.

What led to all this bullshit in the first place is some genius getting the bright idea to force all clubs out of Seoul, the city where 20% of the population lives. The k-league would be in the spotlight instead of baseball if it weren't for that mind-numbly stupid move. History makes for a fan base, but rivalries are what really spark the fire. LG-Samsung derbys were popular with both Seoul and Anyang crowds because of a passion to hate that stupid blue club. Seoul derby days would have blown up if they weren't forced out of Seoul. 2011 would have been the year where the Asian champs, K-league champs and runners up would have clashed in Korea's capital.

Try Afreeca.com, they stream almost all K-league games and you don't need to hi jack a Korean IP.

I agree with you and the fact that a aged 40+ goalkeeper will most likely be taking home the Best XI says a lot about him. If not Choi Eun-Sung, it will probably be Kim Yong-Dae because league title.

Jeonbuk have released their Away jersey for 2013 season. They also plan to create a new emblem during the off-season.
Also, this new jersey will be worn for the final fixture of the 2012 season against Jeju United.

We might have our first relegated team today.

Gwangju is currently losing 2-0 to Daegu. Gangwon is leading 1-0 against Seongnam.

Should Gwangju lose AND Gangwon win, Gwangju FC will be relegated with one round remaining.

    [Official] Gwangju FC is relegated

Kim Hak-beom has come and saved Gangwon FC. Gangwon fans should be happy right now.

But its tough times for Gwangju. It will be even tougher ahead...their future is really gloomy right now. Dont know what to say really.

they are not but still, it's possible that the creation of K-League 2 might bring in some interest and possibly air a match or two a week (maybe wishful thinking on my part).

It's unfortunate too because Gwangju is a big market. The fan support wasn't there because 2 years in Korea is generally not enough time to build a solid fan base but if you see the passion of the Kia Tigers (baseball) along with that population, the potential to build a great fanbase in Gwangju is certainly there. The comparison to Kia Tigers might not be fair because Gwangju is generally a baseball town but regardless, the potential is still there. Would love to see Gwangju-Jeonnam or Gwangju-Jeonbuk rivalry. Maybe perhaps Gwangju-Jeju.

And there is always that chance where Gwangju become like Busan where they just don't know how to market.
