I was at the game, as soon as they took out quintero i knew they were going to lose, they had to put three guys on him in order to stop him. Oribe perdono mucho, they should be able to handle them in torreon.

At some point the Mexican teams pretty much make the decision to manage the first game and try to win it all in the final leg. They have league games to manage and if they can get away without losing too much away they're confidant to take it at home.Mexican teams are not doing anything wrong, they're managing the two legs strategically which has served them well in the past. As an MLS fan, at some point MLS sides are going to have to make them pay for it in the away leg and they haven't done so thus far.

Xelaju made Chivas pay for it in the group stage but that wasn't quite the same thing since Chivas did all they could in the other group games to take the goal differential, they just got burned on the head-to-head matchup.

    Very proud of ya.

I can see where they thought there was an offsides, but they were watching the wrong player.

Am I the only one who saw Mier drop his gum only to pick it up and put it back in his mouth? (after he scored).

    No i saw that.

And no ones talking about Corona scoring?

    ---

    Anyways.

Pretty upset we couldnt finish off this tie in the first half which we should have. Pulido should have started over Garcia - Tuca better start him on Tuesday, Garcia isnt a starter and his finishing is rusty but he holds the ball up extremely well - we could use that in late stages of games.

Still believe we have this - we're going to score at least once in Seattle, all the pressure will be on the Sounders.
