As much as I disliked him as a Whitecap, Tsiskaridze always stood out to me, and seemed really solid. I would quite like seeing him here. Every team needs one good bald player.
I have played against Tsiskaridze in the mens' leagues here in D.C. I can confirm he is much better than I am. As another bald player, I am rooting for him.
It should be an interesting off season even without factoring in who Austin might lose besides Johnson. Portland said that only one third of their players would get MLS contracts. Vancouver made similar comments. That makes a number of good players available. With Austin's perfromance this past season and the great city environment, the Aztex should have a leg up on getting some of this talent. I expect Phil and Adrian have a shopping list in hand and are just waiting for the right time to start making moves.
