    Election is due early 2011.

Bin Hammam has gone on record to seek re-election.

I do personally like the guy. Under his leadership he has brought professionalism to the Asian game, but in doing this, has also kind of split it in half with the ACL, AFC Cup and Presidents Cup, which are good tournaments, but don't have any way of letting teams/nations progress from one to the other in footballing terms, but more in country infrastrucure terms.

Again, he's brought in Vision Asia, and it must be said, this has benefited some nations and nations it hasn't benefited or worked for have been cut - mainly there own doing.

Will Hamman have a challenger? The FIFA vote was close (was it last year?) so surely there will be someone? But who? What will they bring?
