According to a local paper, Dijon reached basic agreement with Matsui and the deal is done.

Dijon is now in Ligue 1 correct? I really hope he revives his career. He used to be so good its sad to see him become irrelevant for club and country.

Now it looks again like a done deal. Matsui is currently in Dijon, so if everything goes right we will hear more shortly.

Matsui currently in Dijon & he agreed with the club.
But the deal can only be finalized when court has decided regarding Grenoble's bankruptcy (at least that's how I understand it).

So with my poor French I understand Grenoble is now officially bankrupt.

So this means they get relegated into 4th tier and Matsui gets his free transfer.

I am not sure what to think about this whole Japanese owner driving French club into ruin-story... It feels like someone should have better played Football Manager (great game).

However, good luck to Matsui and his new family.

@Flaight: Tbh, I think Matsui looks more like the one with some dark past ...

Even if Dijon is destined to fight against relegation I am happy that he found a L1-club after the disastrous post-WC-year.

Torment in L1 is better than torment in L2 Surely the only way is up for him after all this but I really hope he'll get a good few years and good retirement for all he's done for us.
