Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Aside of defenders (although Konno is solid), today's squad is among Japan's strongest ever AND the coach has the decent professional career unlike Zico, so little to worry about. My prediction is 2-0, I've heard nothing about Yordan since 2004, but I don't think they're much stronger than Bahrain or Oman.
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Due to our current fitness issues and the usual tightness of opening games I expect a laborious victory of 1 - 0. The team will probably reach its peak by the 2 nd/3 rd game and the immense attacking potential of Japan will reveal itself by that time. Of course, I would like to see a large score victory but I think it's unlikely to happen.
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Hey, does anybody have any links for watching this game over the internet? I'm in North America and the official stream on the AFC website is geoblocked!!! WHy WHY WHY?!
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] With no warmup matches, I don't know what to expect really.
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] I'm looking for a good-quality streaming too, can someone provide one?
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] I agree. I can't see us conceding. If we get an early goal then we'll roll them a big score. 1-0 opening game is fine. Honda to me seems to have too much pride to let that sort of thing happen.
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] For all those looking for streams: Download Sopcast Go to game page on myp2p.eu Choose CCTV5 or Eurosport2 (RO) ????? PROFIT Also, kazanby channel on justin.tv is an option.
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] I can see that moods are as depressing as it was before the opening game of the WC. I remember reading somewhere his words like "Attack, attack, attack at all costs". He has enough skills to decide an outcome of the game against team like Jordan even by himself I think.
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Hasebe has played as a right full back before for Wolfsburg (not really his favored position of course), but if Japan are really having central defensive problems, I dont see why he cant play as a central defender. Of course I would only think of using him against more experienced teams such as Korea or Australia (should they meet in the knockout stages), anyone else agree?
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Disagree, he may be a decent player defensively, but Inoha and Yoshida and Konno are all better for a CB position. Plus it'd mean taking our starting CM out and filling that position with also someone else like Hosogai. I don't know what your opinion is of Konno, Yoshida & Inoha but they're all good enough to represent Japan. Inoha is a 3-time J.League title winner at Kashima and held a starting spot there for a long time, Konno was part of the defence against Argentina and was very impressive and helped Kurihara stay focussed and Yoshida is someone who hasn't quite proven international calibre but being a starting CB at 20 at Nagoya is impressive and Stoijkovic did that for a reason. Yoshida is in a position to have a very long international career. I thought he should've started in Beijing 2008 which he only did once they were eliminated.
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Well it seems like Makino is being replaced by Nagata Mitsuru of Urawa For those of you who read Japanese http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/soccer/japan/headlines/20110109-00000036-kyodo_sp-spo.html
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Line up Maeda Kagawa Honda Matsui Endo Hasebe Nagatomo Konno Yoshida Uchida Kawashima edit: Yoshida, not Yasuda
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Sounds like a good lineup thanks, but I think you mean Yoshida not Yasuda. Thanks again
Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] i would like to watch the game...any of you guys have a stream?

Re: (01.09.11) AFC Asian Cup: Japan vs. Jordan [R] Is there a high quality Japanese link. Come to think of it I have actually never watched a game commentated in Japanese. I watch a lot of Japanese anime so my ears at least should be already familiarized to it.
