Here we go again, Just wondering if anyone has heard on who is televising the World Cup qualifiers for CONMEBOL. I am tired of direct feeds for this. I'm hoping since now Libertadores and other tournaments are on Fox Sports this will follow suit.

I'm eager to find out about this too. Qualifiers start in September/October of this month and I'd much rather pay for a beer and some food while watching, than pay 20 bucks just to get in and watch.

    The deal fell.
The company that bought GolTV, had previously bought all the rights for the CONMEBOL World Cup Quals thinking that they could use GolTV to put the competition in a variety of outlets.

Now the company has the rights and is left without a channel to put them on. God knows what they will do with it and how they will distribute it. Look for the company to distribute the WCQ on a PPV outlet, again.

And that's for those of you lucky enough to live in a city where bars show the game! Where I live we are lucky if a bar decides to show the world cup final over the town's Little League Baseball team.

Back to Internet Radio and Futbol Paso a Paso on internet for me! :(

Sometimes it's cool, sometimes it's not.

And I've never heard of a bar giving you free food and drinks, even if you've payed 15-20 at the front door  They'll try to suck the most money out of you. I know I would. It's business.

I'm tire of this system. You have to pay 20.00 per match... The only cool thing about it is the atmosphere.

this shit is getting old we should buy our games on pay per view at home I dont mind paying $20.00 bucks for it in the conform of my house. I hate to go to bars full of drunks fighting and hot because their ac is not working this if bull shit its 2007 not 1977

1 match (most likely LIVE) each round will be on GolTV. 18 in total throughout the Qualifiers. That's the deal as of now. SCP is looking into distributing the rest on other platforms, most probably PPV, of course (and maybe broadband). Let's hope they give us the residential PPV choice.

    asi es.

Los animales de la CONMEBOL optaron por dejar el mismo fixture. They didn't even try to mix things a little and make it more interesting

Re: 2010 CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers

soccertv.com already has advertising for the Eliminatorias (top right)

    Circuito Cerrado as expected

They exclude one game from the list, the game that will probably go on GolTV, Uruguay vs. Bolivia.

For the 2nd round, they exclude Paraguay vs. Uruguay, which means GolTV will probably show that one.

WTF, is GolTV gonna become the Uruguay NT channel?

Simple. They make more money that way.

This will stop when a TV channel takes a gamble, buys the rights, and shows them on their channel. The rights are so freaking expensive though
