3-1 victory for Servette vs Vaduz thanks to two late goals...Servette could have decided the match earlier, but Esteban hit the crossbar and Schwegler saved on the line once

5 points difference yet... come on Servette, you'll catch Vaduz

Great match!!! Servette still has hope while Vaduz is in a huge funk.

    1. Lugano 23 +31 58
    2. Vaduz 24 +22 52
    3. Servette 24 +30 47
    4. Lausanne-Sport 23 +19 44
    5. Chiasso 23 +5 37
    6. Biel/Bienne 23 +3 32
    7. Delémont 23 -13 31
    8. Nyonnais 23 -5 30
    9. Wil 23 -5 30
    10. Wohlen 23 -4 26
    11. Winterthur 23 -5 25
    12. Schaffhausen 23 -5 25
    13. Aarau 24 -14 25
    14. Kriens 23 -16 23
    15. Locarno 24 -11 22
    16. Yverdon-Sport 23 -32 14

Here is who the those in contention for the playoff spot have left:

    Vaduz:
    Vaduz - Schaffhausen
    Vaduz - Biel
    Winterthur - Vaduz
    Vaduz - Wohlen
    Lausanne - Vaduz
    Vaduz - Aarau
For of the last 6 at home, those they play have a total point value of = 177. The good thing that Aarau, Schaffhausen and Wohlen still need points to avoid the drop. LS should be up for their match against Vaduz. That being said, Vaduz has been in a big funk.

    Servette
    Biel - Servette
    Servette - Wohlen
    Lugano - Servette
    Locarno - Servette
    Servette - Chiasso
    Yverdon - Servette
Only two of the last six at home, with two matches in Tessin in three days. Three in a row against Tessin teams. Lugano comes before Locarno, that is good. The total points that the opponents have is 189. Yverdon will be well relegated by the last match, that is good for Servette. Servette needs to continue and play well and they have a chance.

    LS
    Chiasso - Lausanne
    Delémont - Lausanne
    Lausanne - Schaffhausen
    Stade Nyonnais - Lausanne
    Lausanne - Lugano
    Lausanne - Vaduz
    Biel - Lausanne
LS still has 7 matches with two against both Vaduz and Lugano. I would love for LS to defeat Vaduz, that would be a huge help to Servette! 3 of the 7 are at home, but three of the away matches are within an hours drive.

Vaduz was trying to get a draw from the first minute on. They way they played they would not deserve promotion. It's kind of 4.5 points difference as Servette have the better goal average

oops, Lugano missed the chance to go 9 points clear. With a 1-2 loss to Nyonnais they're still 6 points ahead

oops, Lugano lost 2-3 to Winterthur after a 2-0 lead

that means they only are 3 points ahead of Vaduz now and 8 ahead of Servette and Lausanne...

and Servette needs 15 points in the last 5 matches to have a real chance for 2nd place including a victory in Lugano on May 11. After that Lugano will have to play in Lausanne and Lausanne also need 15 points in the last 5 matches to have a chance yet

Servette could end up with 15 points, but not likely. If they do not get promoted it will be all of those away draws and losses in the fall where they were the better team but did not show up to play away from home.

we have to try to get the 15 points. The match vs Wohlen needs to be won and to have a chance yet for promotion a victory in Lugano is mandatory. I'm confident the team can do it in their current shape

now, Servette has to concentrate on the next match and win in Locarno next weekend

Eudis and Esteban were in great shape vs Lugano. On the first goal, Esteban hit the post and Eudis converted. On the second, Esteban stroke from 25m. On the third Eudis served Esteban. On the fourth Eudis served Karanovic. The last two were scored by Eudis himself

definitely, Servette and Lausanne are in shape while Lugano and Vaduz are in very bad shape. And Servette is also very well physically thanks to the winter preparation. Esteban is back at 100% and decisive. In this shape, the best player in the Challenge League :)

LS has a more difficult road ahead than Servette, but both are playing better than Vaduz and Lugano. Servette has to stay sharp in its last three matches.

Here are my predictions for the last three rounds:

    Vaduz vs Wohlen, 2-2
    Locarno vs Servette 0-4
    Lausanne vs Lugano 3-1

    Servette vs Chiasso 4-0
    Lausanne vs Vaduz 2-0
    Lugano vs Wohlen 2-2

    Biel vs Lausanne, 1-3
    Delémont vs Lugano, 1-2
    Yverdon vs Servette 1-4
    Vaduz vs Aarau 2-1

    That would give:
    Servette 9 points
    LS 9 points
    Lugano 4 points
    Vaduz 4 points.

Servette gets the automatic promotion and LS comes in second and defeats either AC Bellinzona or FCSG.
