I feel like there gonna blow it too, but theres less than 10mins left so maybe they can hold out. Terrible touch from Chamakh. And he thinks he's too good for ligue 1!!!

Holy Hell, Chamakh jumped clean over that defender to get the goal . Olympiakos' keeper really botched that play though.

Well if Alou wasn't lunging into players like an idiot Bordeaux wouldn't have had anything to worry about.

Exactly . His 1st booking was harsh yes , but to lunge into tackles like he did already on a yellow is seriously retarded , and it could've cost Bordeaux it's qualification .

wanting to change pastures (and sign a big contract) after spending his whole career so far in one club is not necessarily dissing L1.

that touch was too strong, but at the speed he was going, and with a defender breathing hard down his neck it wasn't easy to negotiate.

he irked me royally (for a reason i don't remember) in the first leg but the guy i feel sorry for is darbyshire. he was just offside on his nicely taken strike, and for his first biscotte i'd like to see the replay again. ciani doesn't look to have his shoulder in front by any means, and the shove looks real. to call a penalty at that point might have required a bit cleaner case but a yellow for simulation was completely undeserved.

over 90 minutes bordeaux definitely showed themselves a superior football team but mentally very tender in the crunch.

Not seen the first half of OM - SLB but I feel OM is going to need to score here as I don't believe their defence can hold out , the way the match is going currently .

EDIT : As I say that Niang scores ! Nothing has really changed , SLB still needs to score a goal .

OM gives up a goal almost straight after scoring .

Terrible . Another goal conceded and the tie is over .

At this rate OM will be lucky to make it to extra time , Benfica is really pushing for the 2nd goal .

OM are down and out , SLB scored another .

Very disappointing second half from them . They actually looked better in Portugal than they did in France ...

I guess they can fully focus on the league now .

Saw the Lille-Liverpool match. Lille were totally over matched. Much different from the 1st leg. Lille have no bench and need Gervinho and De Melo back badly.

That's terrible. I like to play teams from different countries in the CL. Now we gotta to OL Bordeaux 3 more times in the run in to the end of the season. Oh well, It still would be nice to send Lolo and YoYo packing :D.

just think if we had gone one round farther in both domestic cups: there would have been 6 matches against bordeaux this year!

Funny - English media types are already putting Man United in the final ignoring both Bayern Munich and the eventual French representative.

Well, the good point is that a French club will reach the semi-finals. Quite honnestly I had strong doubts any of both could achieve such a result against Man U, Inter or Barça.

I wish Lyon and Bordeaux didnt play each other. I wanted to see them play against some of the best in Europe to see how they'd fair.
