Sargent was standing at the penalty spot, wide open for an easy tap-in, when the guy took the shot which was blocked over the bar for a corner.
According to the Spanish-language narrators, Bremen is, with PSG and Juve, the one team that has not failed to score in any league game this season so far.
Huge equalizer on a great long shot by Klaassen ust before halftime. Sargent uninvolved, though he appeared to be attracting the attention of two defenders which at least didn't hurt.
Sargent has really struggled in the first half creating space and moving off the ball. Having said that, Sharin, who has been playing as the deep laying playmaker role, has been abysmal and has really hurt the Bremen attack more than anyone. Honestly, other than Raschica, the GK, and Klassen, everyone for Bremen has been poor (and only on a couple of occasions for Klassen).
at least Sargent is tracking back and helping alleviate the pressure. does WB put in crosses usually? seems like they have had a bunch of chances, but prefer to hold possession and pass back and mini-reset
hurts to say but this is a bit reminiscent of the haji wright experience where basically nothing happened to make you think he should be on the pitch
Sargent has done okay linking up but he’s been a step slow on his chances to break through or making something happen. Hope he gets more time in the second half.
Not at all. Stuttgart is parking the bus and there just isn't much room to operate. Tough tactical situation for a kid making his first start in the big time. He'll be fine.
No one said he wouldn't be fine he's just not having an impact in this game. The Haji comparison was moreso around "he's like Haji in this game in having no discernible impact".
Sargent is a step slow to every encounter today. It is shocking how consistently true that is in this game.
