Gosh it has been really long since we last played Man Utd. Happy to play them again. We should have no problems winning the group. I actually tip Valencia to be second after us knocking Man Utd out. None of the teams are pushovers. Napoli, and Inter's group seem really tough. I believe one of them will advance but don't know which one. Roma should easily advance after Real Madrid.
So all 4 Italian teams in tough groups. All La Liga teams also even though they had 3 teams in Pot 1. 3 of the 4 Prems in tough draws, but Citeh gets a layup. So does Bayern. Gala could WIN group D!
We should be able to win the group. ManUre are in crisis and Young Boys should be wins. Valencia would be the tougher challenge in the group IMO
No excuses for not getting out of this group. Manchester United have a number of problems despite the quality on this side. Valencia should not finish ahead of us. At worst, second place would be acceptable. This whole season comes down to the knockout stages of Champions League. We should win the league with ease. The Coppa Italia would be nice, but not essential. But given that we have drawn a group we should get out of, doing well in those seven games (max) is what this season will come down to in determining whether it was a success on the pitch.
The schedule is up and can be found here https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/2018-2019-fixtures-results-squad-list.2083877/
Man U with Conte in charge would be a horse of a different color: https://www.calciomercato.com/en/ne...united-should-replace-mourinho-with-con-68206
Next weeks game will air at 3pm on UniMas (Spanish stations) and B/R Live. So if you don't have UniMas or want to hear commentary in English, you'll need to subscribe to the B/R app for $10 a month, or you can purchase to watch single games for $3. I'll be paying for each game, it comes out to being much cheaper in the long haul. For the group stage paying $3 a game comes to $18, where as paying for 3 months of B/R is $30. That $12 difference pays for the R16 and Quarters lol.
There's no UniMas were I live and my provider doesn't carry it, or Univision. The Spanish language channels are showing nearly every single game live on tv, but English language is stuck with 2 games each game day and that's it. So if any Juve games show up on TNT then it'll be even cheaper paying per game than subscribing to what people are calling a horrible streaming platform.
You'll probably only have to pay $12 at the most maybe only $9 if TNT shows the home Valencia game. I would think the knockout games should be on TNT.
Wednesday's referee will be Felix Brych from Germany. Juve's record with him is 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. He's the ref that gave Cuadrado a red for that "tackle" against Real Madrid in the CL final in Cardiff.
Not a fan of his. Still he may be better than the Turk that Baldy used to passing to our games all the time.
