12/13 CCL: The FMF (Mexico) Groups [R]

All the current MX teams in the tournament are playing badly right now. Its good this thing continues next year.

 

Yeah Tuca would put all of their B team out in this instance.

Tigres brought their A team. I guess the word got down to Tuca.

Its probably because theres a strong chance they won't make the liguilla. He has to find a way to make the fans happy for something.

 

3 - 0 Tigres, they will finish with 8 points good enough for 7th or 6th depending on LA result.

Edit: they could also finish 8th if Xelaju wins vs Chivas.

 

^^ Hopefully 8. Then the CCL will get to experience its greatest fixture to date.

 

And we can all make fun of Chivas as the only Mexican team to not make the next round in the CCL

I could care less about Chivas, but they probably will win tomorrow.

Also btw i think Tigres stay at 5th place if the score stays as it is no? They will be tied with Houston at 8points but with +7 GD. One more than Houston. Pending LA's game of course.

By the way, Tuca is shit! He should had played with the same team that played in Costa Rica, it was more than enough... we are (almost) eliminated from liguilla... we need our first team against Pachuca not against an amateur team...

Chivas 4 +3* with a win by 2 goals of difference they're 8th

We came out tonight to prove a point and we did that. We will be a force to reckon with in this tournament.

Tigres and Monterrey are the strongest teams in CCL, I hope we can get an epic Regio Final... but I'm still worry about Chivas dynamic, they are looking better and better every game.
Santos will be eliminated as soon as they face another MX team.

 

I never doubted in the their ability - the only thing i was worried about was if Tuca was going to go with the full line up or not - once i saw that he did i knew we had it.

And that would be a hell of a final - we'd show CONCACAF how a final should be done.

 

This is what worries me. Chivas are good team that just need to gel and get over injuries. It would be awesome if they play LA Galaxy. That would be dual home field advantage for Chiva.

Poor Xelaju, down 2 - 0 they score a goal and it is ruled outside (a very close call that could have gone either way).

The 2-1 would have put Xelaju in the next round.
