    Chelsea v. Stoke City
    Saturday, November 6, 2015
    Britannia Stadium, Stoke, UK
    TV (US): NBC
    Time: 12:45 EST

    Table and Form
    14. Stoke (WWWLWD, all comps.)
    .
    15. Chelsea (WDLLLW, all comps.)

    Injuries and Suspensions
Stoke: OUT: Given, Cameron, Joselu, Muniesa; UNAVAILABLE: Van Ginkel
    Chelsea: OUT: Courtois
    Suspensions: Jose Mourinho

    Notable
-Stoke have lost only once in their last 8 matches
-Stoke have scored 9 league goals, fewer than any other team
-Stoke yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season
-Chelsea's leading scorer is still "Own Goals"
-Jose will be handling all strategy, subs, and tactics from a nearby hotel hot tub

Liklihood of Jose Mourinho blaming the referee for Chelsea's performance
If there's a referee participating in the match, he'll likely be blamed.

Liklihood of Zouma playing right back
    Low.

Liklihood of Ivanovic getting burned by Bojan, Arnautovic, Afellay, or Shaqiri
    88%

Liklihood of other defensive players getting burned by Bojan, Arnautovic, Afellay, or Shaqiri
    97%

    Will Fabregas start?
Yes. Of course he's going to ********ing start.

    Beer pairing

We're experiencing a kind of Indian Summer here on the east coast and that allows us to ditch those calorie-laden IPAs and reach for some kolsch, pilsners, or summer ale. As was mentioned before and universally agreed upon, the United States makes the best beers in the world. A lot of people say Belgium but they only say that because they think that's what they're supposed to say. Those people are wrong. Philadelphia has a ton of quality brewing and if you were wise, you squirreled away some of these guys to make a tepid fixture between our Blues and the Potters somewhat enjoyable. Because Jesus Christ do something already Hazard.

If we win, will Jose ban himself from all stadiums?

I have a feeling now, oddly, that even if we draw or lose, Jose is staying.

I think the same too now. It appears that the board really has given him this season to sort things out no matter how much of a disaster it is.

If Ivan signs a new contract within the next month, we know Jose will be here for life.

Here's the lineup I think we'll see. Not the one I'd want.

    ---Begs---

    Ivan-Zouma-Terry-Az

    ---Ram---Fabs---

    Willian--Oscar--Hazard

    -----Costa----

That midfield gets overrun by my grandmother and aunt with a hip replacement. Fab shouldnt be 10 miles of the pivot for the rest of the season.

Is Chelsea's next game at the bridge going to be an empty stadium ?

This will be a tough game, Chelsea need to come out attacking. Early goal essential.

I don't see oscar as playing well. Does everyone think he's one of chelsea's positive performing players.

Gotta say considering Mikel's track record as a true holding mid its strange we didn't revert to our more classic 4-3-3 at all this season and instead persisted with the 2 pivot players.

the team I would play. . .but we will not see. . .

    --------------Beg
    Rahman---Terry---Zouma---Dave
    ------------Matic----RLC
    Willian---Oscar---Hazard
    -------------Kenedy

Yep Kenedy as a big strong fast centre forward with mad skillz. I like Kenedy every time I have seen him and I want to see more of the lad in the team.

He has not been great - but Oscar has amazing vision and talent - see his goal attempt against Liverpool recently from the half way line. IF OScar can come good and Hazard can get his 100th goal - if the three amigos are back in business. . .the sky may not be the limit . . .

failing that :( we shall just have to skip the beer pairing and head straight for the single malts :)

Ouch ... looks like Pedro's boot (or shin?, not certain by the camera angles) just about broke Stokes' Erik Pieters' nose

So frustrating that on 2 free kicks, we had Zouma and then Matic in the offside position. You're god damn professional players, get your heads our of your asses.

The good: Hazard and Willy. The bad: Costa, Ram and Baba. Wouldnt mind seeing Mikel on for Ram at half.
