    Read an article about Dr. Norman Borlaug last night. Founder of the "Green Revolution" which led to improved diets for millions of people. Winner of 1970 Nobel Peace Prize.

    Spejic: your post sort of proves my initial point. Most of those big breakthroughs were by teams, not individuals. How can we put a team of people on the list? Maybe a list of the most important innovations is in order...
