Two teams with huge midweek wins at home. This will be interesting.

A draw here would be a pretty sensational result honestly, given the quick turnaround from a gruelling mid-week grind against one of the best teams in the country.

I'm pretty wary of this game tonight. RSL is usually pretty feisty in their place at altitude.

OK riddle me this? Since the Diaz move, Paxton has not even made the 18. He is not on the injured list, so whats up? I thought this might be his chance.

A little experimentation with the lineup, and a 1-0 deficit at halftime. But we've got a lot of starting talent sitting on the bench. Two subs at halftime to fight back for the win?

    Two subs, but no win.

Yeah, I've seen that game before:
    • FCD, on a stretch with a lot of games in not a lot of days, rolls out a reserve-heavy lineup.
    • The reserve-heavy lineup gets swamped.
    • Pareja subs in some starters.
    • The starters look much better, but don't pull out the win.
On the upside, FCD had a better week than SKC did. Both teams got the L at Rio Tinto, but Tesho's momentary beast mode got FCD the three points at home against Atlanta, while SKC only got a draw at home against TFC.

BTW, Roland Lamah remains a turnover machine, but I'm sort of resigned that he'll remain in the lineup as long as he's FCD's most potent scoring threat not named "Maxi Urruti."

Worried a bit about Pax. Word is he didn't even attend the 7/4 game after not making the 18. Oscar has little patience for attitude, and after not making the trip this weekend - one wonders if we're about to see the kid get of dose of "Moises-Treatment" for a while.

My youngest is friends/former team mate with pax brother. My wife saw on FB The family lost grandfather the boys were very close to the day of game in Minnesota. I know because he would be at their games. Not sure if pax was at game or not, but if you have met him he’s very quiet and humble about soccer. I have met him several times and if you didn’t know him you would not even know he plaYs. I would guess he was with family. Don’t know for sure but there’s always more to every story.
